Implementing a Resident’s Training Objectives
The purpose of this two-hour course is to provide information to participants to ensure they have the knowledge to implement objectives in consumers’ Individual Program Plan (IPP). Topics covered include description of the IPP, measureable versus general objectives, prompt levels, fading prompts, task analysis, reinforcement, barriers to implementing training objective and data collection.

Sensitivity Awareness for Vision Impairment & Blindness
This 4-hour course will provide participants with a brief overview of common eye conditions that cause impairment or loss of vision.  Provides the participant with an opportunity to experience what it would be like to have a vision impairment or vision loss. Participants will experience being guided, eating a meal and other activities of daily living and complete return demonstrations   on how to assist.  Suggestions on how to better support recreation/leisure activities and provide a safe environment for an individual with vision impairment or blindness will be offered during the course.
